![Bookings opened for Proton X90 - 4 variants confirmed, all 1.5 TGDi mild-hybrid 01]()
Proton has confirmed that bookings for the 7-seater Proton X90 is now open. Prices have yet to be announced as the model is not expected to launch until the middle of this year.
The Proton X90 will only be sold at Proton 3S / 4S outlets. Showroom-only 1S outlets will not carry the model.
The company also said that preview sessions have been conducted for selected customers since 8-April. The so-called City Preview sessions have been completed in Selangor, Kl, and Penang, and will move Johor and Pahang on the 15th and 16th April, before ending at Sabah and Sarawak on 29th and 30th.

Four variants have been confirmed, and the features are identical to what’s mentioned in our earlier post.
All variants are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine paired to 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, but aided by a 48V belt-starter generator (BSG) mild-hybrid motor.

On top of what's mentioned above, the Premium variant will also offer a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features including autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control, there’s now the addition of Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Rear Collision Warning (RCW), and even Traffic Sign Information (TSI).
