Ahead of its global debut, Mistubishi Motors has dropped an exciting teaser video of the company's upcoming all-new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton.

And perhaps it is one that should make competitors very worried as it highlights the improved performance, durability and offroad ability of the 2024 Triton; nicely complemented by dramatic music and lurid dirt slides. Let’s check it out.

To achieve this, the 2024 Triton will receive a newly developed ladder frame, chassis, and engine.

The newly developed ladder frame and newly designed double wishbone front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension is claimed to offer improved driving performance without sacrificing ride comfort.

Elsewhere, the newly developed ‘clean diesel turbo engine’ has significantly reduces friction loss to achieve higher output and greater efficiency.

The current generation Triton features the 4N15 aluminium-block 2.4-litre turbodiesel with MIVEC variable valve timing, it outputs a maximum 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Yoshiki Masuda, chief product specialist of Mitsubishi Motors added, "Having the full model change of all-new Triton for the first time in about nine years, we have newly developed the engine, suspension, interior and exterior,  which has resulted in significant improvements in driving performance, comfort and safety.”

“In addition, we have interviewed various customers about their usages and needs, and have repeatedly conducted development tests to meet the demands of a vehicle that works in a harsh environment,” he added.

The all-new 2024 Triton will make its global debut in Thailand on 26-July 2023 and will be launched sequentially in the ASEAN region, Oceania, and other global markets.
