Thailand’s best-selling car of 2023 so far, the Isuzu D-Max is looking to receive a facelift in the Kingdom around this month. However, it seems that Thai social media have leaked photos of the updated D-Max before its official unveiling.

The photos were uploaded into a private Thai Isuzu D-Max Facebook group while Autolife Thailand reported that the D-Max facelift could be launched on 6 October.

Based on the photos, the updated D-Max could sport a redesigned front bumper with the front fog lights housing appearing to be integrated into the front grille. Speaking of the front grille, the fang-like chrome trims seem more prominent than the outgoing pre-facelift.

Besides, the Thai publication also published a shot of the rear which shows a redesigned taillight cluster. Though the images show covered wheels, Autolife Thailand also speculates that the updated D-Max could offer new wheel designs.

While the D-Max facelift could receive an extensive exterior makeover, there are no further details on whether the same changes would apply to the interior. As for features, Autolife Thailand is speculating that higher variants of the D-Max might be equipped with an electric parking brake (EPB).

It is likely that powertrains will remain unchanged in the D-Max facelift. Currently, the D-Max is powered by a 1.9-litre turbodiesel (150 PS/350 Nm) or a 3.0-litre turbodiesel (190 PS/450 Nm). The powerplants are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
