Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the official distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, announced a new marketing strategy for the Ford Ranger. Titled ‘Live the Ranger Life’, the new brand expression reflects the popular pick-up truck’s evolution as a modern lifestyle truck rather than just a workhorse.

Live the Ranger Life is based around five core tenets namely:

• We Make Our Own Fun – stands for fun in driving and living
• Up and Over – tackling challenges in life
• Bring Others Along the Journey –encourages owners to interact with family and friends
• Can’t Help but Help – encourages everyone to assist each other
• Carve Our Own Path – encourages buyers to be bold and fearless in life

SDAC is currently gearing up to launch its new Lifestyle Ford Merchandise store on its e-commerce enabled website.

Customers can soon browse Ford merchandise and also make their purchases on the website itself. The website accepts various payment methods including online banking, credit and debit card, and e-wallets.

Once the payment is made, the online shop will deliver the items to the customers’ doorstep.

SDAC also teased that it is ready to introduce a series of in-market programmes for the Ford Ranger. Watch this space for the latest update!

On another note, the Ford Ranger is expecting to debut a whole new generation before the year is out. Several models were spotted testing in Thailand more than once, we expect the all-new 2022 Ford Ranger to make it Malaysia perhaps by the end of 2022 or even early 2023.
