  • Taycan 4S – 7,100,000 THB (RM 957,660)
  • Taycan Turbo – 9,900,000 THB (1,335,329.04)
  • Taycan Turbo S – 11,700,000 THB (1,578,116.14)

Not bad for the car that scientists call the most innovative car in the world.

A further development of Porche's J1 platform (in pic) is the PPE platform that will be used in the new electric Porsche Macan.

The Taycan is the first production vehicle with a system voltage of 800 V instead of the usual 400 V for electric cars. This architecture enables consistent high performance, dramatically reduces charging time at highly powered charging points, and decreases the wiring cable’s weight and installation space needed in the vehicle.

The Taycan 4S has the Performance Battery (79.2kWh) and not the Performance Battery Plus (93.4kWh)

The Performance Battery Plus, a standard in the Taycan Turbo S and Taycan Turbo, is a larger battery that can conduct higher currents, thus speeding up the charging process significantly. The Performance Battery Plus is optional in the 4S variant.

Under optimal conditions at 800 V charging stations, with a maximum charging capacity (peak) of 270 kW, the battery can be recharged for a range of up to 100 km (according to WLTP) in just over five minutes. Additionally, the charging time for 5% to 80% SoC (state of charge) is 22.5 minutes.

For charging at 400 V charging points, an on-board DC charger with 150 kW is equipped as standard in Thailand. An on-board alternating current (AC) charger with 11 kW for charging using alternating current is also installed. This fully and gently charges the battery in approximately nine hours.

The flagship Taycan Turbo S can generate up to 560 kW (761 PS) of overboost power in combination with Launch Control and accelerates from zero to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds, the same acceleration figures as a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.

Sharing the same J1 platform in the Taycan is the Audi e-tron GT

The Taycan Turbo S generates up to 1,050 Nm of torque with Launch Control and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h. It has a combined range of up to 412km when the battery is fully charged. The Porsche Electric Sport Sound comes as standard, a unique acoustic accompaniment to dynamic driving.
