When it comes to the Suzuki Jimny, the aftermarket catalogue is chock full of ways to turn the small but thoroughly capable off-roader into an individualistic fashion statement. DAMD is one of those aftermarket players and at the upcoming 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS), it will be publicly unveiling two new body kits.
The Japanese aftermarket company is not new when it comes to Jimny cosplays, transforming the modern retro design into past classics like the original G-Wagen and Ford Bronco as well as modern contemporaries like the current G-Class. Its latest pair though are not inspired by classic off-roaders and are instead paying homage to past rally masters.

Made in collaboration with famed Italian aftermarket wheels supplier, O.Z., the Little Delta and Little Cinq are inspired by the Lancia Delta Integrale and Renault 5 Turbo respectively. O.Z. has also reproduced the iconic Rally Racing wheels which are now made to suit the Jimnyβs 195/80 R15 wheel size.

Obviously, both the eighties rally classics share zero similarities in design with the boxy Jimny so the only visual inspiration being tacked on both homages is the front. The Little Delta gains quad headlights and a Lancia-like front grille along with an upright roof spoiler which looks very cool.
The Little Cinq (cinq is French for 5), also receives a different front design that is very clearly reminiscent of the classic French hot hatch. It even receives a small diamond badge similar to the classic Renault badge and for added comedy effect, βNON TURBOβ is written in huge eighties-style font on both doors.
Based on that funny little remark, it seems both the Little Delta and Little Cinq are based on the Jimny Sierra which is what the global Jimny is called in Japan. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 102 PS/130 Nm.
There is also a narrower kei-regulated Jimny offered in Japan which is powered by a turbocharged 660-cc 3-pot petrol powerplant that produces 64 PS/96 Nm. Though the units that will be shown at the upcoming TAS are based on the global Jimny/Jimny Sierra, they could be offered for the kei Jimny if it were to eventually be on sale.

Besides the Little Delta and Little Cinq, DAMD will also be showcasing three more unique bodykits for the Toyota Hiace, Daihatsu Atrai, and Daihatsu Atrai Deck Van at TAS. Japanβs premier automotive aftermarket show will be held from 12-14 January 2024.
