When Toyota already proposed a merger with Groupe PSA, can they reengineer some Toyotas as Peugeots, Subarus as Citroens & some Lexuses as DS, thus making it useful for marketing those cars to countries where PSA is non-existent (e.g., South Korea)?

If that happens, then here is a list of neither Toyota, Subaru, Lexus, Peugeot, Citroen, nor DS cars that a future TMC-PSA merger can reengineer it (e.g. Toyotas as Peugeots, Subarus as Citroens, Lexus cars as DS, Peugeots as Toyotas, etc.): Toyota Highlander (aka Toyota Kluger (XU70), source: Wikipedia/Wikimedia) Perhaps, it would be reengineered as a DS instead of a Peugeot since they (Peugeot) already have a mid-size crossover (,Peugeot 5008,, II) Toyota Sienna (XL30, source: Wikipedia/Wikimedia) As with Peugeot already ceased/demised the production of the badge-engineered 807 (from the ,Eurovans, moniker, a direct rival to the VW Sharan and the previous generation Kia Carnival in some parts of Europe), that North America-only Sienna could be useful for Peugeot to reengineer it as the ‘Peugeot 808’, especially since Peugeot still cooperates with TMC as part of its factory in Czechia (source: ,Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech,). Toyota Avalon (XX50, source: Wikipedia/Wikimedia) With the Peugeot 607 (an E-segment car) already faced its demise, another of TMC’s NA-only cars like the Avalon would be something that Peugeot can reengineer (as the ‘Peugeot 608’), even with DS Automobiles already in existence. But, that idea can help PSA boost its sales, especially when they promote the merger to countries where Toyota is strong but also, weak (e.g. South Korea (Japan’s foe) and the Philippines, where majority of people deeply like Tokyo). However, Toyota had a reengineering deal with fellow rival Mazda, instead of Peugeot (source: ,Mazda Demio,) For Subaru: Subaru Impreza (GK, source: Wikimedia) If this Subaru still does not market it into Europe (also South Korea), then Citroen can reengineer that as a ‘Citroen Xsara’, whose name was recognizable for its appearances in the World Rally Championship series of rally car racing. Subaru Legacy (seventh generation, source: Wikipedia/Wikimedia) Just like the Impreza, this can also be reengineered as a Citroen too hence the ‘Citroen Xantia’, popular in European roads during the 1990s, but not popular outside its home market.
