An image was recently circulating on social media, in which an unnamed Toyota dealer advertises a spare tyre package to 2023 Toyota Vios (AC100) owners.
Our checks reveal that the offer is legitimate; however only certain dealers are extending that offer based on their own initiative. The price for the full-size spare (which includes the rim) are as follows:
Though balancing is in the package, note that the retaining screw for the spare is not available as the mounting points require some modification.
The 2023 Toyota Vios is priced from RM 89,600 (1.5E) to RM 95,500 (1.5G) in Malaysia. Note that the car comes without a spare tyre (not even a space saver tyre), save for a tyre repair kit to get you going.
