The new 2022 Mazda CX-30 has landed in Malaysia. As before, the Mazda CX-30 is imported (CBU) from Japan by official distributor Bermaz Motor. It gets the new Platinum Quartz Metallic colour as well. 

Compared to before, prices of the new 2022 Mazda CX-30 have gone up by RM 1,000 across the board. The 2022 Mazda CX-30 is priced from RM 145,759 for the base 2.0G Core variant, topping out at RM 168,673 for the top-spec 1.8D High variant.

Speaking of which, Bermaz has dropped the 2.0G High AWD variant of the CX-30, leaving the entire line-up as front-wheel-drive-only.

Also new is the addition of the Platinum Quartz Metallic colour, as seen in these photos sent in by Mr. Low from Azam Motors, Bandar Baru Permas Jaya, Johor.

As a brief recap, Bermaz offers the Mazda CX-30 with two powertrain options. The first is a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol that does 164 PS at 6,000 rpm and 213 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The second engine is a turbodiesel 1.8-litre 4-cylinder that does 116 PS at 4,000 rpm and 270 Nm from 1,600 rpm to 2,600 rpm.

Both engines are mated to Mazda’s SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed torque converter automatic that delivers power to the front wheels.

The Mazda CX-30 is backed by a 5-year/100,000-km warranty, as well as a 5-year/100,000-km free maintenance program.
