If you're on the waiting list for a 2022 Mazda CX-30, your orders will be automatically converted and you'll be getting the locally-assembled (CKD) versions, and it's looking like a better value proposition.
Our sources say work to produce the CX-30 in Kulim is underway, and our stories concerning the model winds back all the way to 2021. Taking into account plant preparations and supply issues, the timeline checks out, and it's said that deliveries will begin by the first quarter of 2023.
