Sporty-looking hatchbacks by Proton include the Proton Satria, Proton Satria Neo, and the Proton Suprima S. While there might be no plans for a successor to the Proton Suprima S soon, photo chopper Theophilus Chin has decided to use the Proton X50’s front end to imagine one.

While Theophilus has called it the Proton H50, the result is very reminiscent of the Proton Suprima S. Instead of looking like a totally new car, the rendering looks like a well-done evolution of the turbocharged hatchback.

The original Proton Suprima was powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged CamPro engine (139 PS/205 Nm) mated to a CVT. It was a good-looking car that managed to garner its own group of enthusiasts.

There were also sightings of a 6-speed manual version a long time ago, but it never came to fruition. Ambitions for the Proton Suprima S and Proton Preve were high but they have both been discontinued.
Since the partnership with Geely, Proton has introduced 2 SUVs, namely the Proton X70 and Proton X50. Another Geely model is bound to be released this year, and it is most likely another SUV (Perhaps a Proton X90?).
Should Proton recreate the Proton Suprima S in the future? Let us know what you think!
