For Gen 1 and Gen 2 there is a setting for lockout. You can still lock it once you set the feature and leave the keys in the ignition and use the other keyfob. It was the same with older cars with keyless entry if the key was in the ignition it wouldn't lock but you could use the keyfob to do it.Sep 18, 2011
