UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has introduced the 2024 Toyota Yaris G Limited in Malaysia, as a limited-run variant of the popular Honda City Hatchback competitor. Only 600 units are available, priced from RM 99,600 a unit.
This means prices for the Yaris range in Malaysia are now as follows:
- Yaris 1.5 E - RM 88,000
- Yaris 1.5 G - RM 91,600
- Yaris 1.5 G Limited - RM 99,600
The G Limited – a throwback name, the last time we had a similarly-named variant was in 2011 with the NCP93 Vios – comes with a host of light aesthetic and performance enhancements. The kit constitutes:

The rest of the car comes with the same kit as the standard Yaris 1.5 G. This includes 16-inch wheels, LED headlamps, fabric seats, auto air-conditioning, and paddle shifters. Safety-wise, the Yaris G Limited comes with autonomous emergency braking, lane departure alert, and 7 airbags.
Power comes from the 2NR-FE 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine, making 107 PS and 140 Nm, paired to a CVT.
Warranty coverage for the entire car is the standard 5-years/100,000 km, though the additional performance parts are covered only for 1-year/20,000 km.
