Toyota Raize dan Harrier paling laris di Jepun tahun ini! Bolehkah D55L laris di Malaysia?

Menurut rekod jualan Japan Automobile Dealers Association (JADA), rekod jualan kenderaan baru bagi tahun 2020 melihat Toyota sebagai jaguh jualan bagi bulan November. Toyota Raize, kereta asas bagi Perodua D55L, dan Toyota Harrier menjuarai carta SUV paling laris di sana.

Raize merekodkan jualan 10,627 unit manakala Harrier pula terjual laris dengan 9,897 unit dalam bulan November. Tapi, dua kereta terlaris di Jepun pada bulan sebelumnya berbeza pula jaguhnya.

Model terlaris pada bulan itu ialah Toyota Yaris dengan 19,921 unit terjual – hampir sekali ganda jumlah jualannya jika dibandingkan dengan Raize. Angka jualan termasuklah model dengan nama Yaris dan Yaris Cross.

Berbalik kepada angka jualan bulan November, Toyota Alphard tampil di tempat ketiga dengan sejumlah 10,109 unit terjual – menjadikannya MPV paling laris di Jepun pada bulan 11 itu.

Kembarnya pula iaitu Vellfire merekodkan jumlah jualan yang jauh bezanya dengan Alphard – hanya 1,241 unit. Inilah sebahagian dari sebab mengapa Toyota merancang untuk menggabungkan kedua-dua MPV mewah ini bagi menghasilkan generasi barunya kelak sambil mengekalkan nama Alphard dan bukannya Vellfire.

Perkara yang lebih kurang sama terjadi dengan Toyota Raize yang menjadi juara dalam carta tersebut. Kembarnya, Daihatsu Rocky, hanya berjaya merekodkan jumlah jualan sebanyak 1,400 unit. Ini samada lencana Toyota lebih popular ataupun disebabkan faktor harga dimana Rocky lebih mahal berbanding Raize.

Harga Daihatsu Rocky di Jepun bermula dari JPY 1.705 juta manakala Toyota Raize bermula dari JPY 1.679 juta.

Sepanjang tahun 2020, Raize kekal sebagai SUV paling laris di Jepun sejak dari bulan Januari lagi.
