Does my Mazda 6 have a timing belt or chain?

The 2018 Mazda6 uses a timing chain instead of a timing belt. The timing chains can go on for the lifetime of the car and need no changes after regular intervals as in the case of timing belts. All modern car manufacturers are shifting to the timing chains instead of the timing belts.
