Better late than never, our northern neighbours Thailand has finally seen the all-new 2023 Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid launched there in 2 variants and with prices starting from 1,379,000 baht (~RM 185,100). However, unlike Malaysia, only the hybrid powertrain will be offered in Thailand.
Just like the Malaysian market, the Thai Innova will be imported from Indonesia as well. The 2 variants available there is as follows:

The new Innova Zenix Hybrid rides on the monocoque TNGA-C platform that’s shared with the Corolla Cross, making it a front-wheel drive model.

With Thailand only offering the petrol hybrid powertrain, that means the Thai Innova Zenix will stricly be a 7-seater as only the non-hybrid variant can be had with 8 seats. To recap the powertrain, that’s the 2.0-litre M20A-FXS Atkinson-cycle petrol engine that features dual VVT-i and D4-S (direct and port injection). Thermal efficiency - the amount of energy an engine can extract from the combustion process, is a best-in-class 41 percent. On its own, the petrol engine makes 152 PS and 188 Nm of torque.

The electric motor delivers 113 PS and 206 Nm of torque, with a 1.3 kWh Ni-MH battery that’s installed under the front seats.
Combined, the powertrain produces 186 PS and 206 Nm of torque that reaches the front wheels via an e-CVT automatic transmission.
Equipment wise, the entry Innova Zenix HEV Smart packs the following:
