Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) introduces a quick update for the Ford Ranger XLT Plus variant. The new facelift will now feature a new front design and new Bi-LED headlamps for a price of RM 129,888 on the road without insurance.

The Ford Ranger XLT Plus facelift comes with enhanced features similar to the Ranger WildTrak and Raptor – new high-performance Bi-LED headlamps that deliver 17 percent greater lighting penetration for better visibility while driving at night.

Its new body-coloured bumper design finished with a silver bumper lip replicates the front exterior of the Ranger WildTrak. It also comes with a new chrome grille that is exclusive to the Ranger XLT Plus to further complement its overall exterior design look.

Other than that, the pick-up truck remains largely the same and is still powered by the same 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission capable of producing 180 PS and 420 Nm of torque.

Safety-wise, the truck also comes with two airbags, Limited Slip Differential, Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control, Rollover Mitigation, Trailer Sway Control, Adaptive Load Control and Ford MyKey.

Not only that, Ford is also aiming to offer customers more savings and a lower cost of ownership, customers who purchase selected Ford Ranger Raptor, WildTrak and XLT Plus variants will have the option of 4 free vehicle service that is equivalent to two-year free maintenance or up to 40,000 km, whichever comes first or a RM 2,000 cash rebate.

For selected Ranger XL variants, customers can enjoy up to RM 7,000 cash rebate, while a RM 7,000 cash rebate will be offered on selected Ranger XLT variants.
