Last month, Kia revealed the official pictures of the 2021 Kia Carnival. We definitely agree that it is a very good-looking Grand Utility Vehicle (Kia doesn’t want you to call it an MPV), and we really can’t help but wonder if it looks as good in real life.
Well, wonder no more! We got the inside scoop from our friends at Korean Car Blog who shared images of the fourth-generation Carnival doing some tests around the Namyang R&D Center completely undisguised!
From these few images, it’s safe to say that the real-world production model is definitely a looker. The combination of SUV-style and MPV practicality really gel well together.
Apart from these exterior pics, we also found some interior shots courtesy of the guys at Carnival Members and Korean Car Blog. The interior looks very high-end and sophisticated, like the sort of luxurious miniva…I mean Grand Utility Vehicle you expect.
2020 Sorento interior
The dashboard of the 2021 Carnival has the same integrated design as the 2020 Sorento, which seems unlikely to make it here. Also taken from the Sorento is the steering wheel. Based on the middle picture above, the Carnival might have polished metal trims on the dash, giving a premium feel.
With these amazing spy shots, what do you think of the 2021 Carnival? It wasn’t that long ago that Naza Kia launched the 11-seaterGrand Carnival in Malaysia. Maybe this new Carnival could arrive here as early as 2022?
