Pros

  • If Mona Lisa were to turn into a machine, it will be the Bentley Continental Flying Spur. The design is so flawlessly classy especially with creases on the body of the car and also the Swarovski Crystal headlights that “blings” your eye while looking at it.

  • A mind boggling speed of 3.8 seconds from nought to 100km/h on a 2.2 ton palace. Something that you would not expect on a long wheel base limousine that makes the same speed as Mercedes Benz AMG GTS.

  • Sitting in the Flying Spur is like being in a Palace with room full of leather, hand stitched seats with massaging functions.

  • Rear passenger seats are greeted with high-tech interior as there are two (2) large screens and a small screen controller in between the back of the front seats that controls almost all the functions in the car.

Cons

  • One thing that hold most Malaysians back; the roadtax, the highest spec Flying Spur will make you think twice (RM 15,630 individual, RM 64,510 company).

  • The infotainment systems are lifted off from Audi with a little bit of extra tweaks with Bentley’s logo. A car with that price tag, should have their systems custom by themselves instead of sneaking it from its “less” prestigious cousin, Audi / Volkswagen.

  • The new dual clutch automatic gearbox is not as smooth at pulling away from a standstill compare to the old fashioned torque converter automatic gearbox.

  • A very huge car that can only fit 4 person comfortably, as the rear middle seat are not designed for an extra passenger.
