The Toyota Yaris Ativ (Vios for Malaysia) continues its dominant sales streak in Thailand, once again topping the monthly sales chart for April 2023 according to data gathered by Autolife. Toyota's plucky-but-recently-controversial sedan ended the month with 2,867 units sold versus the Honda City's 1,229 cars moved. This time around, the company has showcased the AC100 Vios’ fastback-like styling, with a sloping roofline that gives it a very upmarket design. In the first half of this year, Perodua sold 127,343 vehicles totalling a 30 percent jump from 97,290 units sold in the same period last year, on the back of strong demand for vehicles due to the sales tax exemption deadline.
