The Toyota Camry is no longer the “unclemobile” people once assumed when mentioning Toyota’s D-segment sedan favourite. The current generation XV70 has shed that image just as the segment is facing greater competition from SUVs.

The XV70 Camry is a sedan that looks so good that it makes you forget about how plain and vanilla the previous generations were. However, looks aren’t the only things the Camry glowed up as it also excels in the handling department.

There’s a cohesive character in the way it goes around the corner with a nicely weighted steering and an organic feel as you go around the bends. Communicative is not an adjective you would describe the way the Camry drives but it’s here on this beautiful monster.

Of course, the main reason why people would go for the Camry is its comfort and even with a more engaging handling, it’s still exceptionally plush. There are reclining rear seats which give an air of business class with a relaxing seat posture and plush seat paddings.
