![Spotify makes its way into the Atlas OS; Proton vehicles to get the feature 01]()
As the largest music streaming service in the world, you’re probably going to want Spotify in your car’s infotainment system. Now, ACO Tech has made that possible for Proton users with the streaming service being made available via integration with its Atlas in-vehicle infotainment operating system.
With the collaboration, Atlas users will now have access to Spotify’s library of over 82 million audio tracks and over 4 million podcast titles while on the road. All they have to do simply cast the content from their smartphone’s Spotify’s app to the vehicle’s infotainment head unit.

Atlas is wholly developed by the Malaysian team and the in-vehicle infotainment operating system is supported by a complementary mobile application named Atlas Auto that functions in a similar method to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay by prioritising convenience and control.
ACO Tech went on to add that the system was tailored to meet the diverse demands and preferences of the Malaysian motoring community.

The Atlas system operates on Android 8.0 and above, is pre-loaded with Spotify and will make its debut in Malaysia in Proton vehicles. You can download the app from the A store and get more information here.
“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life.
