Launch date confirmed, here's what you should know about the 2024 Mazda CX-5 facelift in Malaysia

It's no more a secret – we now have the confirmed launch date for the 2024 2024 Mazda CX-5 facelift facelift in Malaysia, and that's next Tuesday, 30-January 2024.
Some dealers already have the model in stock – such as this PJ-based one we highlighted in a post earlier this week – so deliveries should begin as soon as possible for customers that have placed a booking.

Granted, prices for the model aren't out yet, though its safe to expect the typical bump that stems from added equipment and refreshed looks.
For reference, the current pre-facelift Mazda CX-5 range (all CKD Kulim) is priced as below:
2.0G Mid – RM 139,469
2.0G High – RM 159,769
2.5G High – RM 173,260
2.2D High – RM 178,622
2.5G Turbo – RM 187,060
Visual cabin tweaks aren't groundbreaking, but more on added features
Among the additional goodies that the Mazda CX-5 facelift could receive are stuff like wireless Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, and more driver aids like adaptive cruise control.
Speaking of which, the CX-5 facelift comes with a new Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS) function globally, which assists with accelerator and brake pedal control, as well as steering the car in traffic jams.
