Campervans have always been a popular way to travel in the USA, but who knew that the trend would make it to Malaysia as well? This Perodua Myvi owner converted her car into the perfect camper car for just RM 500 and has already travelled the entire east coast of Peninsular Malaysia!
Farah Nabilah wanted to make a solo trip around the Peninsular but she couldn’t afford a van, so she converted her Perodua Myvi into a camper van instead.

With her CamperMyvi by her side, she spent 10 days traveling from her hometown in Melaka to KL, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Selangor before heading back to Melaka.
Along the way she stopped by paid campsites or ask permission to park at private properties to make use of the toilet amenities provided.
In an interview with Says, when building her CamperMyvi Farah wanted to keep things simple. She wanted the car to still look like a box standard car when she is on the move so one can only tell that the Myvi is a converted campervan when she parks the car and set things up.
Other than a queen-size bed, there is still space in the converted Myvi to keep a make-shift table which she uses for cooking, eating, and placing items like a mini fan. The table is designed so that it can be supported by the edge of the car boot lip.
In case you’re wondering: yes, the CamperMyvi still has its back seats.
Times are tough, especially now that we’re still battling the Covid-19 pandemic. Travelling by plane is out of the question while public transport is now not the most comfortable option and converting a Myvi into a campervan sounds like the ultimate fun idea for a holiday at the moment!
