![UMW Toyota urges you to 'Step into Tomorrow', launches 'Live Hybrid' campaign 01]()
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) launched its Toyota Live Hybrid campaign in Malaysia today, and along with that teases a new hybrid model to come. Toyota hasn't confirmed the model, but the silhouette hints at a Toyota Corolla Cross.
The slickly-animated video bandies around terms like 'efficiency', 'less emissions' and 'silence', words one usually attaches to hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs).
Toyota has previously announced that they're investing RM 270 million into its Bukit Raja plant in Klang to locally assemble (CKD) hybrid models. That's on top of the RM 2 billion investment to build the Bukit Raja plant, the company’s second plant after Shah Alam.
