The Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, the car world's Real Madrid vs Barcelona. No matter who you choose, there can only be one winner, and in the case of Thailand's D-segment sales in 2022 – it's the Camry.
Headlightmag.com's data points the Toyota Camry carved a clear lead (nearly double the volume) over its nearest rival, having sold 6,089 units over the Accord's 3,366 cars. This equates the Camry garnering 64.4% of the market share, with the Accord settling for 35.6% of it.
Thought both are good products in their own right, price factors can't be ignored too. The Camry is much more advantageous in this aspect, for it starts from THB 1,475,000 (~RM 189,000) for the petrol variant while the hybrid is priced from THB 1,659,000 (~RM 213,000).

Meanwhile, the Accord starts from THB 1,499,000 (~RM 193,000) for the base petrol EL, and tops out at THB 1,799,000 (~RM 231,000) for the e:HEV Tech range-topper.
Though Toyota has won this category last year, Honda aims to renew this fight for 2023 with the (possible) introduction of the all-new Accord. Lots of tech in that one – including Android Automotive integration just like Volvo's – and upgrades all around. A camouflaged unit has already been spotted testing there.
