'Resale value' sedan segmen B - City dan Vios 'king', tapi Almera lagi teruk dari Vento?

Dekat Malaysia ini, kalau bab nak beli kereta je mesti ramai yang akan persoalkan tentang nilai jual semula (resale value). Maklumlah, harga kereta dekat Malaysia mahal, jadi pembelian kereta yang mempunyai nilai jual beli yang tinggi amatlah disukai serta dihargai rakyat kita.

Sebelum Vento, ia dikenali sebagai Polo Sedan.

Kalau sebut saja sedan segmen B, pasti tiga nama ini iaitu Toyota Vios, Honda City, dan Nissan Almera merupakan pilihan yang standard di pasaran jika anda inginkan kereta dengan nilai jual beli yang tinggi. Tapi sejauh manakah kebenaran ini? Untuk ini, kami masukkan sekali Volkswagen Vento didalam perbandingan ini.

Toyota Vios – raja dalam bab ini, tetapi berapa ye?

Toyota Vios mempunyai nilai jual semula yang paling tinggi. Sebagai contoh, Vios 1.5G yang berusia lima tahun memegang 63% nilainya di pasaran, dengan varian lain juga rata-rata berada di peratusan yang sama.

Honda City – boleh bergaduh dengan Vios

Sama seperti Vios, City mengekalkan nilainya dengan baik. City 1.5V yang berusia lima tahun mengekalkan kira-kira 58% nilainya - sedikit lebih rendah daripada Vios, tetapi model-model yang lebih baru mempunyai nilai yang lebih baik.

Nissan Almera – merudum dengan curam

Almera sebaliknya mengalami penurunan harga yang lebih curam. Dengan usia lima tahun, varian tertinggi 1.5VL hanya mengekalkan separuh (47.4%) dari nilai asalnya.

Hasilnya, harga Almera terpakai ketinggalan jauh di belakang Vios dan City.

Volkswagen Vento – boleh tahan sebenarnya!

‘Wildcard’ di dalam perbandingan ini, Volkswagen Vento juga melihat penurunan harga yang tinggi, dengan model berusia lima tahun hanya menyimpan 40.5% dari nilainya. Namun, model kemudian lebih baik daripada Almera, membalik stereotaip yang mengatakan 'Kereta kontinental jatuh lebih banyak di pasaran kereta terpakai'.

Seperti dijangka, Vios dan City kekal raja di arena nilai jualam semula. Namun begitu, Almera pula jauh tersasar daripada pemahaman ‘kereta Jepun mempunyai pegangan nilai lagi tinggi’ kerana mempunyai nilai jualan semula yang lebih rendah dari Vento.
