The Proton X50 was finally previewed last week, and of course many fans are relentlessly asking questions. We see it in our Facebook and WhatsApp groups. 

Well, we've answered most of them.

Things like what sets the X50 apart from its Geely Binyue/Coolray twins and how the new Proton SUV isn't a shrunk Volvo XC40.

Questions on pricing are yet to be answered. Proton has clarified that the price list for the Proton X50 "has not been released or disclosed at this point of time".

Which means that 'official price lists' out there are fake.
