The D-Max is a great off-roader, with great traction, plenty of ground clearance and good visibility. On the road, the higher-spec models are best if you're considering one as a mixed-use vehicle.

This ute has been a very reliable vehicle. Would definatly recommend Dmax to anyone needing a work ute or just a daily driver.

In the end, the Toyota Hilux may have won some battles, but for the everyday drive, the Isuzu D-Max wins the war. Both bakkies have a lot going for them. They're very comfortable to drive, but I have to say that the Isuzu just feels a touch more comfortable on rough surfaces.

The D-Max would be a pretty good choice of vehicle for this task. The three-litre engine is well regarded in the trade and because it's a little larger (in capacity) than some of its competition, it also has a bit more torque which is great for towing.
