The demand for C-segment sedans has declined substantially over the recent years as buyers have taken a stronger interest in SUVs and crossovers.

However, in markets like the USA, sales of the Honda Civic is stronger than ever. In Malaysia, Japanese carmakers have shifted the positioning of their C-segment sedans to be more upmarket, high-tech and not to mention expensive.

We discussed the three hottest C-segment sedans currently in Malaysia – all-new Mazda 3, all-new Toyota Corolla Altis and the new Honda Civic facelift.
