The Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke Siew Fook, has announced today that a phase out of natural gas for vehicles (NGV) will take place in the country beginning today. This means that beginning 1-July 2025, vehicles powered by the gas will no longer allowed to be registered, and sales of the gas will also be completely phased out of all Petronas stations - the only operator selling NGV - by then.
