0-100 km/j: Antara Myvi, Iriz, Jazz, Yaris, Mazda 2, dan Polo, yang manakah paling laju?

Kenderaan hatchback segmen B agak laris di Malaysia dimana ia menjadi pilihan utama bagi graduan yang baru memulakan kerja. Segmen ini juga menarik buat pengguna yang hendak menukar daripada kereta bandar yang kecil seperti Perodua Axia atau daripada kereta lama sekalipun.

Untuk pengetahuan anda, segmen ini jugalah Perodua Myvi bertapak dan menguasai pasaran Malaysia sehingga menjadi kenderaan yang paling laris.

Perodua Myvi turut dianggap sebagai raja di jalanan kerana kelajuan dan kebolehan sebuah hatchback bandar yang agak keterlaluan sehinggakan menimbulkan jenaka dalam kalangan rakyat.

Hal ini menimbulkan persoalan dalam kalangan kami bahawa adakah ia sebegitu laju ataupun yang paling laju dalam segmen B?

Kami telah kumpulkan data daripada ujian serta rebiu dan bandingkan kesemua enam hatchback segmen B yang merangkumi Perodua Myvi 1.5 H Line, Proton Iriz 1.6 Premium, Honda Jazz 1.5 V, Mazda 2 1.5 Hatchback, Toyota Yaris 1.5 G, dan Volkswagen Polo 1.6 MPI Comfortline.

Kami telah mencatat masa yang diambil untuk memecut daripada 0-100 km/j untuk semua model kecuali Myvi dan Polo. Oleh itu, bacaan Myvi dan Polo akan diambil daripada bacaan rasmi oleh jenama masing-masing.

Berdasarkan penilaian kami, Mazda 2 mengambil masa yang paling singkat pada 10.5 saat. Ia diikuti oleh Polo di tempat kedua dan Myvi di tempat ketiga terpantas dalam ujian pecutan kami.

Walaupun Volkswagen Malaysia masih menjual Polo yang lama sedangkan seluruh dunia telah mendapat model yang baru, prestasinya masih berdaya saing walaupun sudah berusia.

Pada masa yang sama, "supercar" Malaysia bukanlah terpantas disini tetapi ia mengalahkan Proton Iriz dengan hanya 0.1 saat. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan Iriz sedikit perlahan ialah berat tambahan sebanyak 163 kg berbanding Perodua Myvi.

Angka ini mungkin logik secara teknikal tetapi realitinya, Iriz mampu mengalahkan Myvi seperti yang dibuktikan di sini.

Mazda 2 tidak mempunyai angka kuasa yang paling tinggi. Namun begitu, enjin suntikan terus (direct injection) terbukti memberikan lebih tujahan berdasarkan ringkasan kami.

Menuruni kedudukan yang lebih bawah ialah Honda Jazz dan Toyota Yaris dimana Yaris mengambil masa yang paling lama pada 12.5 saat.

Prestasi enjin sememangnya bukan keutamaan kedua-dua model ini kerana Yaris mengutamakan aspek keselesaan dan Jazz mengutamakan aspek praktikal.

Berdasarkan beberapa ujian yang telah kami buat, Mazda 2 lebih tumpukan aspek pemanduan berbanding keselesaan dan praktikal. Dengan itu, pecutannya bertepatan dengan falsafah yang dimiliki.

Perodua Myvi mungkin bukan yang terpantas dalam kelasnya tetapi ia tetap kereta yang paling laju menurut rakyat Malaysia.
